Sandee Lea, a PMA National Certified Pilates Instructor and ACE Certified Trainer, has been actively involved in the fitness industry for over 27 years. She started exercising at the age of 12 and prior to receiving any formal training, she creatively used her own body resistance to sculpt and tone. She discovered this practice also helped her sculpt her mind and emotions, creating a balanced lifestyle. Since that early age Sandee has been vigilant in her dedication to training and formal certification, becoming one of the best instructors in the region.
In addition to her extensive background in Pilates and postural therapy, Sandee has a BA in Psychology. Her training is filled with joyfulness, positive energy, as well as focusing on impeccable alignment and strength.
Sandee is available for Off-site training, from a residence, to an office or fitness center.
Sandee offers virtual training both nationally and internationally clients. She trains clients all over the world.
Sandee offers Private sessions and semi-private sessions.
Private Pilates Training
Mat Pilates, weights and bands. Pilates apparatus training if available. Clients learn the fundamental breathing and stretching techniques of Pilates mat work, which concentrates on abdominal strength. As awareness deepens, clients perform intermediate and advance exercises.
Clients are assessed and then given a personal postural therapy program to do at their own home
Photos are taken and clients are asked to perform basic fundamental exercises.
Clients are shown how to properly do the postural exercises and most demonstrate they can do them correctly on their own.

Sandee's unsolicited time and passion to train the Arsenal girls U13 competitive soccer team has proven to be invaluable in their successful run during the 2009-2010 season. During a preseason tournament game, Sandee had observed that the majority of the players were having trouble in completion holding on to the bull under physical demands of the game. After 3-4 weeks of Pilates training all of the players performances had dramatically improved. Their balance, speed and strength when battling for balls were quite obvious to the point that the girls looked forward to her training. Apart from being challenging, it was proven to be fun and to be a very effective team bonding activity. Sandee's passion, commitment and top-notch knowledge of the discipline really helped the team reach the physical level needed to play the sport in Southern California. We are thankful for her contribution in helping the team reach semi-finals during the Cal South State Cup run. I have reached a level of performance in track and field that I never thought possible, because I took courses at "A Pilates Studio". Before going up with the studio, I finished my sophomore year of track and field running a 2:06 in the 800 meter (half mile). I entered my junior cross country season plagued by injuries and an inability to compete. I was deeply concerned for my upcoming track season and didn't know how to get healthy. Conventional therapy had been helpful in the past, but the benefits didn't seem to be maintainable. Through a close friend, my mother was recommended Egosuce to treat my ills. Soon, I began working with Sandee Lea on my menu and getting my body aligned. Tje results were remarkable. With my body aligned and being able to unleash my potential without risk of injury; I saw vast imporovements in my running. My form was purer and I could feel all of my body working for me, rather than, against me. By the end of 2013 track and field season, I had toppled my own personal record in the 800 meter by nearly a whole ten seconds (1:57), and broke the school record by about four. I was also ranked in the top fifteen 800 meter runners (according to DyStatCal) in the CiF-SS Division 2. Most importanatly, I finally felt like I had a season where I was enabled to compete the way I always felt I could. I have SANDEE Lea and "A Pilates Studio" to thank for this.
